Peace of mind

I found the Heartland people were very helpful and gave good sound advice. They were interested in looking after my interests. This would be one of the best decisions I’ve made. It gave me peace of mind and enabled me to complete maintenance on the house and deal with some large and unexpected expenses.

I have had a reverse mortgage with Heartland Bank for about 18 months.

Before I took out the mortgage I made some enquiries and found that at that time there were not many banks that supported this. I found that a couple at least would not carry on with the arrangement after the initial amount of the mortgage had been used. Their position was that the house (or property) had to be sold to repay the loan.

I approached Heartland because of my research, I was convinced that Heartland was the best to deal with.

I found the whole process relatively easy even though there was quite a bit of paperwork involved. I found that the Heartland people were very helpful and gave good sound advice. They were interested in looking after my interests as well as my own.

This would me one of the best decisions I have made. Gave me peace of mind and enabled me to complete maintenance on the house and deal with some large and unexpected expenses.
