Keep on trucking
Hino Finance is based on the principles of speed and simplicity, allowing truck and transport businesses to upgrade or expand their fleets without costly delays. The online application process delivers a decision within minutes.
Applicants can apply for up to 100 percent finance online (including GST) with payment terms up to seven years. “We know trucks, and Heartland Bank knows finance,” says Darren Salt, general manager of Hino Distributors NZ. “This partnership is about taking the best of both and packaging it in a simple, online offering.”
On the right road
Hino Finance’s first customer, Ewan McCash – owner and managing director of Taupo-based Central Hose and Fittings Ltd – was impressed with the service.
Mr McCash, whose business supplies hydraulic hose and fittings for large machinery such as diggers, cranes and sawmills, applied for a loan to upgrade to a new truck – a light-duty Hino 300 Series 717.
“I had no problems at all when it came to using Hino Finance,” says Ewan. “The whole process was very straightforward and I can’t think of anything that could have been done better. “It’s great to work with a bank that understands how small business owners don’t have heaps of time to spend enquiring about finance.”
Ewan’s new truck is currently being fitted with a specially built body to carry up to 1.5 tonnes of hose, plus fittings and tools.
“I run a 24/7 service, so I need a reliable truck on the road that’s always ready to go where it’s needed,” says Ewan. “You never know when the phone is going to ring or where you’ll be headed.”
Wherever he’s headed, Ewan can be confident that his business is on the right track with a brand new vehicle on hand, fully equipped to deliver the service that customers keep calling back for thanks to Hino Finance.
